Could Santa be green?

This is a bit of fun, which also has a serious message. The figure of Santa has been around for what would seem years and yet he turns a blind eye to what happens in the world, the disasters, the bad people and so on, so where does he stand on green issues?

The case for Santa, his uses eco friendly transport the emissions from reindeer are only a fraction of that from other transport. He is head of a massive worldwide industry which despite all of the problems still manages to make everyone feel good and finally he is now online, so therefore kids can now email him, which saves thousands of trees.

The case against Santa, the use of virtual slave labour in third world countries has increased in order to fill the ever increasing Christmas present lists, Christmas wrappings use dyes & plastics and then there is sticky tape! Finally despite the apparent destruction of his homeland in the polar ice caps, he never speaks out about it.

So is Santa Plc green or not?
