AT & T offer security tools to business

Once again AT & T are in the news for all the bad reasons, this time it is to do with the fact that they are offering businesses the same services that they have been offering the security services and large corporations, which is being able to monitor employees, customers and other operations from totally remote locations.

A small or medium sized business could under this scheme install adjustable cameras, door sensors and other spying type gadgets in up to five different locations around the US. This would enable the company to monitor the installation through a Java enabled mobile device or over the internet. They could then view images in real time, which are digitally recorded and can be viewed for up to thirty days later, control room lighting and monitor equipment etc.

The equipment needed costs around $199 to start for a single location, and up to $349 for multiple cameras, and for a single unit the monthly fee is from $10, while the maximum five locations is $40 per month.

Big Brother is here!
