Before you write a business plan
If you are planning on writing a business plan, there may be some things that you need to do before putting pen to paper:
Understand what a business plan is; don’t just write down your idea. There is help out there on the net where sample can be found.
Legal, sort out any legalities in order for a business to survive it must be legal from every angle.
Get the number right, you will need Start Up costs, Break even point, Cash flow and if you are looking for funding.
Research, the market place and the competition.
What is the demand for your product or service?
How will you get this to the customer?
Get the right staff, experience is great, but team players help the business grow.
What benefits do you offer to customers?
This is just the basics, as time goes the business will be change and become even more detailed, it is not something that should be overlooked as it can make the difference between being successful or not.
