Facebook profile worth money

Just how much is a Facebook user worth? Well it has to be debatable whether they are worth anything at all, but when MySpace was sold, the business was worth about $580 million, which as they had at the time 22 million users this means that each user was worth $26, not bad but if you are a Facebook user that’s just pocket change.

With the Microsoft interest in facebook valued at around $15 billion then it stands to reason that the users are going to be worth more, in fact they are estimated in a value at $306. Naturally there are comparisons with the MySpace deal that would make the Facebook users worth around 11.8 times better that their MySpace counterparts, but it’s all in good fun.
