Google docs and spreadsheet problems

If you are using Google’s doc and spreadsheets, you may wish to take a quick peek at the terms and conditions, because if they are worded as a lot of people think they are, then any published content could belong to Google or rather they have the right to re produce it for marketing purposes. Sounds scary? Well maybe it is. This is the offending text.

“By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through Google services which are intended to be available to the members of the public, you grant Google a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, adapt, modify, publish and distribute such content on Google services for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting Google services.”

Now that would seem to be the case, we are all awaiting Google’s response.
