Being green can boost business

Announcing to the world that your business is going to become carbon neutral can be a great thing for business. For in a recent survey compiled for the dedicated web hosting company Memset. The UK’s first hosting company to become carbon neutral, the figures speak for themselves.

Now this may not mean much, but the survey found that out of 140 new customer sign ups, nearly half of them said that it was the fact that the company had made a sincere commitment to the environment that made them decides to sign up with them.

There are many ways of going carbon neutral and the simplest of all would be to run a plant a tree scheme. This is where a tree is planted for every sign up or a certain amount of spending has been reached.
