Busy tone means lost business

In a recent survey by the Birmingham based company Time Etc it has been found that small businesses and sole traders are losing millions of pounds worth of business simply because they are too busy to answer the phone.

Research has found that 70% per cent of customers calling a business and getting no answer or a busy tone do not call back, and are very reluctant to use a answer phone or voicemail. This means that these businesses are losing out on new business, the life blood of any business.

There is a viable solution that may be worth small businesses and sole traders looking into, and that is a telephone answering service. There are many services out there, which offer pay as you go personal assistants; it has to be worth looking into. Maybe a trail could work.
