Steve Jobs still want to be on Disney’s board

Despite the concerns over Steve Jobs health, it looks as if he cannot be too worried about it, even though he has taken a six month leave of absence from the day to day running of Apple. He is still interested in being re-elected to the board of Disney in March.

He has been a member of the board since they bought Pixar a couple of years ago, he was given a controlling interest in Disney with a stake that is estimated to have been worth around $4 billion, yet he receive no cash for the work that he has done at Disney.

The partnership between Apple and Disney goes back a long way, starting when they agreed to distribute their films and TV shows through iTunes, from which the have sold millions of films and tens of millions of TV shows.
