Topless mob appear at Heathrow
It had to happen sooner or later, with the government pushing ahead with the expansion of London’s Heathrow airport, and then it was a sure thing that the protesters would be stepping up a gear in order to try a delay it.
At Heathrow protesters opposed to the development of the third runway staged a flash demo, which involved protesters wearing red t shirts with the words “Stop Airport Expansion” printed on, and some female protesters who wore no tops at all.
Yet the topless protest was to bring attention to the problems in the Congo, while the protest to stop the expansion of the airport was staged by people supporting the seven hundred or so villagers whose lives will be affected by the airports development.
