Hot dog seller payout for prime spot

When you see someone selling burgers and hot dogs on a street corner in London there is little though that goes into how much the guy pays or not to the local authorities for the privilege.

However, in the home of the hot dog, New York there is more value placed on a pitch where a hot dog stand can be placed, in fact outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art; one street vendor has just paid out $362,201 for one of the corner spots for a year!

Pasang Sherpa still believes that he has got a great deal, despite bidding more than $80,000 over the nearest bid, yet this is still a investment as the corner spot will get a minimum of five million visitors this year, hence the value.
