US interest rates couldn’t get any lower

In the US the Federal Reserve has once again cut interest rates, they now stand at between zero per cent and a quarter of a per cent, they really cannot go any lower if they did then the banks would be paying people to take out loans with them.

This is a bold move to get things going in the country, it is hoped that this will encourage the economy to grow and therefore create wealth through that channel.

Yet this is ok if everything goes accordingly to plan, but what happens if this plan does not work, this is the final throw of the dice as they have no more weapons to use against the financial crisis, so if this fails to deliver the desired results, then what?
