Alcohol always sells, Google updates AdWords

There is one thing that always sells when the world is experiencing a global credit crunch and that is alcohol, this is good for the producers of beers, wines and spirits as they know that their profits are not going to be affected that much.

It also seems to be good for Google, as they have also studied this and in order to keep their cash flow pouring in, they have adjusted the Google AdWords accordingly to bring in some alcoholic adverts for surfers to check out.

Google are limiting the effect of these adverts though, the ads must not directly promote the sale of alcohol so therefore there will not famous names grabbing the attention of the Google user, but rather more subtle ways of advertising will be accepted.
