BBC should be an info hub

Is the BBC about to become the next big thing to hit the internet, after all they already have serious web presence, but could the BBC become as big on the internet as the likes of FaceBook and Google?

Some people believe that this could be the direction that the BBC should be taking in fact according to the Director General, Mark Thompson they are already well on their way to offering consumers and viewers the best choices and wide range of services available on the internet.

For the BBC it is not just about TV shows anymore, the internet has changed all of that and what users want is more tools and services provided by organisations like the BBC to make their entertainment even better and multi dimensional.
