Gates gets into Bio Fuels

It seems that bio fuels are to be the future of keeping our cars on the road in the short term at least, but with the potential of this industry to make millions if not billions of pounds, then there is going to have to be some serious investment to get the ball rolling.

Step in, Bill Gates and his investment company Cascade Investment, they have join a few other investors to put together a package believed to be worth around fifty million pounds for the Bio Fuel production company, Sapphire Energy.

The company plans to produce their type of bio fuel from algae, known as green crude this product will produce a 91 octane fuel good enough for most cars. However, they can with the right investment package, begin to produce other types of fuel such as, jet fuel and diesel.
