Internet failing in the USA

At one time if we in the UK wanted to look at a website based in another country the access was almost certainly routed through the USA, after they claim to have invented the internet in the 1970’s so it is only natural that they had control of the traffic.

But over the last few years or so this pattern has started to change, despite the concerns of the US security people gradually the flow of traffic is being moved away from the US and thus leaving them in fear of not being able to track what is happening.

For some this may seem like data is bypassing the US, but for all nations’ especially new economies, data networks are offering a great opportunity for these countries to own their network in a similar way that roads are.

There is no conspiracy, it is just business.
