The perils of eating out

It is interesting to hear the other side of the story when it comes to eating out. Many of us occasionally have a meal in restaurant but sometimes this does not work out so fine and yet you simply cannot understand why.

Well a waiter spills the beans on what makes the restaurant world tick and in particular points that every restaurant goer would really need to know before they book that table.

Avoid eating out on holidays and Saturday nights
There are almost never any sick days in the restaurant business
Waiters can and do spit in people’s food
Restaurant owners don’t have friends
Treat others as you want to be treated
Don’t snap your fingers to get our attention
Don’t order meals that aren’t on the menu
Splitting entrées is okay
If you find a waiter you like, always ask to be seated in his or her section
If you can’t afford to leave a tip, you can’t afford to eat in the restaurant
Always examine the check
If you want to hang out, that’s fine
Never, ever come in 15 minutes before closing time
