The world’s largest arms dealer is?
Well in 2007 the world largest exporter of weapons is the UK! Surprisingly according to the UK Trade and Investment (UKTi) exports of arms came to a massive £9.7 billion, more than the US, who most people think are largest arms supplier in the world.
However the sort arms that we are talking about here are not simple guns and bullets, these are jets and boats.
The sales figures have been lifted by orders from the governments of Oman and Trinidad & Tobago for patrol boats and the even better deal for the Euro Fighter Typhoon model from the Saudi Arabian government which come to £16 billion!
