Current TV offers $100 for Digg

It seems that there are constant offers being made for the news listing site Digg, these offers range from $4 million to around $30 million, but there was a time when Digg could have made the founders a lot more extra cash.

It was in 2006 that Current Media the business fronted by the man who used to be the next President of the USA, Al Gore, when the founders and shareholders in Digg could have easily walked away with a few million a piece, but it was not to be.

So what next for Digg? They are a growing concern but will the business ever be in the situation where they are offered a similar amount to what Current Media did?, it is doubtful as there have been many high profile takeovers of user driven site, but not Digg, yet!
