Cheap food is no more in the UK
Despite all of the warnings, the food crisis still grows. But we have seen this type of problem arise before, but the difference is now that the food crisis could soon be hitting countries closer to home.
We have since the end of the war had the luxury of cheap food, and recently over the past five years or so this food war has intensified to the point where some food products were so cheap that it seemed unbelievable.
But those days could be ending sooner than we think as a global food crisis begins to tighten its grip on all people, no matter where they are located.
It is the price of wheat and rice that is causing the problem, in some places the basic food stuff pasta has gone up in price by eighty one per cent! Clearly this cannot continue, or can it? It seems that we are moving from one crisis to another these days.
