The McCartney’s get down to business

The business of divorce is one that can cost millions of pounds for celebrities, the recent court appearance of the McCartney’s has shown us all that it makes no difference who is right or wrong the bottom line is all that matters and this case had a large bottom line.

The media had stood guard outside the family courts waiting for news, eventually a jubilant Heather Mills appeared from the building, she had been awarded around £24 million. Naturally there are many speculations as to how this money has been worked out and even down to working out an hourly rate for the money.

But the money is irrelevant it is the business that surrounds it, the legal and PR operations that are put in place, the media machine and the courts too, everyone with the hands out and some with their hands in each others pockets. The simple fact is this is the end of marriage and maybe that is what we are focussing on instead.
