Blogger fired by CNN

Working for CNN as journalist has to be a great job, you get perks and if you are good at your job prospects, but how can writing in a blog lead to you getting fired from one of the leading news companies in the entire world?

It sounds simple, but naturally there are going to be different stories to each side, the writer when through some illness and while recovering decided to start a blog, this would help keep his writing going and then at the same time get into the work ethic.

Then out of the blue he is confronted by his boss and asked why his name has been attached to some opinionated blog postings circulating around the internet. After a bit of shuffling around the final straw was the CNN handbook that said that any writing done outside of CNN has to be passed by the network first. The rest is now history, if you write a blog check your other contracts.
