Google unhappy with Microsoft/Yahoo deal

It was inevitable that at some stage a partnership between Microsoft and Yahoo would be going ahead, however what was not clear was how this would happen. But the cat is out of the bag now and Yahoo will be going under the very large umbrella that is known as the Microsoft organisation.

Almost immediately after the bid, there were signs that some people would not be happy about this partnership, indeed there have even been the prophets of doom sounding out their unhappiness with Yahoo becoming part of Microsoft.

Google have gone a little further than some others in saying that they see this new era as an attempt by Microsoft to takeover the internet, as they could influence how people use the internet itself. Google go on to say that Microsoft has always tried to create monopolies and now it seems they are attempting the same now with the internet.
