Woman deletes company data

When a woman from Florida saw what she thought was her own job being advertised, especially as the phone number was the same as her bosses, Marie Cooley assumed that she was going to be fired so in order to get a bit of revenge in first she decided to visit the office on a Saturday evening.

She had access to all of the company files of which she decided to delete, all seven years of the architectural company, drawings and all data said to be worth around $2.5 million!

She was arrested and charged with “Causing damage to computer files” but the sad thing is, it wasn’t her job that was being advertised, there was a position with the owner’s wife’s business, they just used the number for the advert.
