Man gets paid for job he did not start

Imagine going for a job interview, being offered the position, but for some reason or other you decide not to go through the job, this is a normal thing because circumstances change etc.

But what if the company paid you for the job because of an administration error or something? This would be an error on behalf of the company so is it right that the person says nothing and allows the company to keep paying the salary? What a dilemma Anthony Armatys, 34 must have thought, but it just kept being paid.

But five years and $470,000 later he was arrested and charged with theft by deception, by accepting cheques from an employee of whom he does not work for. This is a dream turned nightmare.
