Ford cars are copyrighted

If you are thinking of taking a few photos of your very nice ford machine then you may want to reconsider that for a while.

Take the guys over at the Black Mustang Club (BMC) which is a car forum for anything automotive, they wanted to produce a calendar as many people and organisations do these days. They got their members to send in photos of their prized cars and once the finished draft was ready they sent if off to Café Press.

Then the bomb shell, Café Press informs the group that they cannot print any picture of anything Ford, logo, or cars, as they are a corporate trade mark and cannot be reproduced without the owners consent. So what about papers and websites which sell cars, could this be a bit of a problem!
