Floating continents of garbage

Businesses world wide are being blamed for huge islands or as they have been called continents of rubbish. These are freely floating around the Pacific Ocean, killing marine life and due to the content of these islands, they are also releasing poisons into the sea too.

One of these so called island is supposed to be the twice the size of Texas and weighs over three million tons.

The rubbish is drawn to an area known as the North Pacific Gyre; this is due the trade winds which push everything together there, however there are not many actual sightings of the island, which really if something is to be down about it, it will need to be fully studied first, if it really exists at all.
