Sony to offer trade in on TV’s

Don’t throw that old TV away because it could worth a little bit of cash. This is being rolled out across the States at the moment, but don’t think that it’s going to be like trading your old car in for part exchange, because this scheme does not work like that.

People with an old TV to dispose of will still have to take the old thing to a recycling centre, where the TV will be taken off their hands and then they will given a voucher to the value of whatever the offer is, $50 or $100 off of a new Sony Television, yes it’s the old voucher thing!

Naturally this is not going to work, it’s just a green gimmick because people will still dispose of their TV’s and go to the stores to buy a new one.
