The £10 million tip

Owners of a Chinese restaurant who were left a £10 million in the will of one their customers have a legal battle to keep the money.

Golda Bechal befriended Kin Sing Man and his wife over a period of more than ten years, after the deaths of her son and husband. They went on holidays and generally spent a lot of time together.

However the five nephews and nieces of Mrs Bechal tried to get the will declared invalid, claiming that their aunt must have been suffering from something like dementia and that the inheritance should belong to them.

The judge disagreed with their claim and the Man’s walked out of the court with a sizable fortune, which just goes to prove that by looking after your customers can have rewards.
