From babysitter to millionaire

Like most teenagers Vanessa Wauchope from Connecticut, USA, did a bit of babysitting for some extra cash, but after college when she moved to NYC, babysitting was far from her mind. But as things go she ended up needing some extra cash and decided to fall back onto what she knew best.

So at the age of 21 she was back to where she started from, but in Manhattan there are many well off parents who are looking for good baby sitters and soon Vanessa found herself with more clients than she could handle, she needed help and so started asking friends if they wanted to baby sit occasionally and it has just grown from there.

Now four years later Vanessa company is called “Sensible Sitters” now has over 300 baby sitters in NYC and a further 150 in LA, and of course is worth well over a million dollars.
